I collect a lot of  STUFF. I love maxilmilism, it makes my heart pound. I'm one eclectic gal, what can I say? I'm an antique store's most supportive friend. There's something so pure about curating my own space of frames, vases, art, postcards, and cookie jars, all once belonging to those who lived before me. Each holding deeply intimate stories of connection.

It reminds me that I am bigger than myself, and that there is always a story waiting to be heard. My curiosity has only expanded as I've grown older.  I continue to resonate with the belief that I know so little, yet I will never stop learning and exploring.

During one of my greatest adventures studying abroad in Florence, Italy, I took a museology course where we spent 15 weeks examining and analyzing the purpose and functionality of museums. Ever since, I have seen my life, every living moment, as an artifact: objects, adventures, stories, and ideas, all of which help me better understand who I am, where I come from, and what I hope to become. It is more than a preservation of our past; museums teach us to reflect, listen, have gratitude for struggle, challenge once deeply ingrained notions, and see imperfection as connection, while at the core of it all is curiosity. It maintains our virtue and reminds us how much radiance can be found in the ordinary. When we fully embrace experience, we find sacred in the simple.

Whether these pieces be displayed in a museum that was once a palace or an old shoe factory with creaky worn wood I try to find a story in it all.
